In the summer of 2010 I took my girlfriend at the time to
Breckenridge for a weekend getaway to enjoy the mountains and go hiking. That Sunday before we left Breckenridge
we ended up going shopping on main street looking for some
Colorado/Breckenridge t-shirts that we could remember our little vacation
with.
After 3 hours on main street and too many t-shirt stores to
count, I finally realized that every single store had the same crap designs
printed on the same inferior shirts.
I finally realized that the t-shirt shops were only there to sell
t-shirts to tourists and make money.
That was the day that the idea started to grow in my mind,
Colorado apparel made with the quality and uniqueness that Colorado natives
deserve. Colorado apparel that you
can proudly wear everyday.
It would take over a year for Colorado Threads to be
founded, but when we finally pulled the trigger it quickly became apparent that
this was something people wanted.
We work everyday to improve the quality of our clothing and the
creativity that drives our designs.
