The Start

In the summer of 2010 I took my girlfriend at the time to Breckenridge for a weekend getaway to enjoy the mountains and go hiking.  That Sunday before we left Breckenridge we ended up going shopping on main street looking for some Colorado/Breckenridge t-shirts that we could remember our little vacation with.

After 3 hours on main street and too many t-shirt stores to count, I finally realized that every single store had the same crap designs printed on the same inferior shirts.  I finally realized that the t-shirt shops were only there to sell t-shirts to tourists and make money.

That was the day that the idea started to grow in my mind, Colorado apparel made with the quality and uniqueness that Colorado natives deserve.  Colorado apparel that you can proudly wear everyday.

It would take over a year for Colorado Threads to be founded, but when we finally pulled the trigger it quickly became apparent that this was something people wanted.  We work everyday to improve the quality of our clothing and the creativity that drives our designs.

Mid-Summer Line Release

On July 11th Colorado Threads was proud to release its 2013 mid-summer clothing line.  We expanded the line quite a bit and released 5 new products.

We've been a small shirt project for awhile now, and in the past we had simply printed our designs on blank shirts that allowed us to create our product for a reasonable cost and still not limit ourselves designs wise.  In the past we felt that we could use blank garments and it still wouldn't effect what we wanted Colorado Threads to represent.

Well we're excited to announce that in the coming weeks we're going to be working on sourcing our own materials and designing our own shirt patterns.  We believe that going into the future the material that our designs are printed on should represent Colorado Threads Just as much as the designs do.  So we're excited for the opportunity to increase the quality of our product and create apparel that will be even more comfortable to wear.

We'll keep you posted!
