The Start

In the summer of 2010 I took my girlfriend at the time to Breckenridge for a weekend getaway to enjoy the mountains and go hiking.  That Sunday before we left Breckenridge we ended up going shopping on main street looking for some Colorado/Breckenridge t-shirts that we could remember our little vacation with.

After 3 hours on main street and too many t-shirt stores to count, I finally realized that every single store had the same crap designs printed on the same inferior shirts.  I finally realized that the t-shirt shops were only there to sell t-shirts to tourists and make money.

That was the day that the idea started to grow in my mind, Colorado apparel made with the quality and uniqueness that Colorado natives deserve.  Colorado apparel that you can proudly wear everyday.

It would take over a year for Colorado Threads to be founded, but when we finally pulled the trigger it quickly became apparent that this was something people wanted.  We work everyday to improve the quality of our clothing and the creativity that drives our designs.

  1. This is a great story. Too bad YOU DON'T SHIP THE PRODUCTS THAT ARE ORDERED AND YOU DON'T COMMUNICATE WITH PEOPLE WHO WANT THEIR MERCHANDISE!

I've been trying to find out about an order that was placed 7 weeks ago for my 14 year old son who was hoping to wear one of your designs to his first day of high school. NO SHIRT, NO RESPONSE TO CALLS, NO RESPONSE TO EMAILS. All I got was a $42 charge.

I hope that someday you change your business model to start delivering the products that you're charging people good money for.

  2. I've been having the exact same problem as Robert above. I ordered some products in June, and got the e-mail saying you received my order. Got another e-mail saying that the order has been shipped. Well, still nothing and it's already middle of September. I've e-mailed ever address possible (orders@co-threads.com; cothreads@gmail.com; info@coloradothreads.com; brian@co-threads.com), sent several messages through Facebook, posted/commented on Facebook only to have the comments deleted, left a few voice messages at 720-383-1861. Finally today I went to Twitter where they can't delete my message, where I also found another unhappy customer with the same problem. I'm finally going to submit a complaint to the Better Business Bureau today as well.
I like Robert above hope that you grow up and actually act like a business, and reply to your customers questions and concerns instead of ignoring them.
